A ‘Spring Mixed Exhibition’ featuring a wide range of artists and work selected based on their being ‘over-size’.
Unusual sculptures include David Sawyer’s ‘Wave instrument’ a large disk filled with shooting pellets that make the sound of waves when tilted and a fantastic ‘Indian Warrior’ metalwork wall sculpture made by Spencer Larcombe (see above). Lifesize stoneware figures by Lucienne Lasalle, bright and expressive paintings by Isabel Merrick, Christopher Custons-Cole, Stella Tripp and ceramic vessels by Jitka Palmer. Tapestry of abstract landscape by Christine Sawyer and a pulp wall-sculpture by Andrew Vaccari.
